What is life above the sun?

I have been wondering all these while, what is life? Is it the day to day living and passing of time?

Life should means more than waking up in the morning, eating when we are hungry, drinking when we are thirsty, and going to work and back home to sleep. Marriam-webster has defined life as ‘the experience of being alive’. The experience is part of life, part of living.

“The purpose of life is to live it, to experience to the utmost, to reach out eagerly and without fear for newer and richer experience.” – Eleanor Roosevelt

Being alive does not equate to having life.  Do I have a life? Life means differently to different people.

“Life is the present. Life is being aware; it is seeing God’s love breaking through. It is    turning aside to a miracle something like a sunrise. Something transitory, yet symbolic of the eternity that awaits us.” – David Roper

All these years I’ve been busy making a living, and have not been really living a life. Now I am going to embark on a journey to search for MY own definition of life – and I’m going to live a life that is above the sun.
